Statement of Faith
We believe:
that there is one God who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent, revealed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
that the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative written Word of God.
that Jesus Christ is true God and true man; that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary; that He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world; that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood; that He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures and will return, visibly and in person, in power and glory.
that Adam and Eve were created in the image of God and free from sin; that they fell into sin causing alienation from their Creator; that the human race subsequently came under divine condemnation; that salvation has been provided by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God.
that the church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the head, and is composed of all people who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
that there will be a bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
